ASA Pens is a family-run business led by founder L. Subramaniam (alias Anand), his wife Aparnaa Subramaniam, and daughter Shruti Subramaniam. The name "ASA" is derived from the first letters of our names.

About the Founder
L. Subramaniam — Founder
L. Subramaniam, fondly known as Anand, is the founder of ASA Pens. Having spent much of his early life in Kolkata, he later moved to Chennai and built a successful career in the service industry. At 41, after nearly two decades in the corporate world, he chose to follow his true passion — creating beautiful and reliable fountain pens.
What began in 2012 as a small venture has evolved into a respected brand handcrafting up to 200–400 pens per month, trusted by customers in 82+ countries.
